Punkten vor, da eine unsachgemäße Montage zum Verlust deiner Garantie-
ansprüche führt. Achte darauf, dass der Gabelschaft innen und außen
entgratet ist.

– Demontiere das vordere Schutzblech an deinem Fahrrad.
Remove the front fender on your bike.
– Falls sich bereits eine Ahead-Kralle im Schaft deiner Gabel befindet,
muss diese zunächst entfernt werden. Die Kralle wird entweder durch
Herausschlagen nach unten oder durch Ausbohren entfernt. Falls du

If there is an existing star nut inside the stem of the fork, it must
first be removed. The star nut is removed either by hammering it
out of the bottom of the steerer tube or by drilling. If you are

– Setze den Aheadset-Expander in den Gabelschaft ein und ziehe diesen mit
einem 6mm Inbusschlüssel an (mit bspw. einem Schlitzschraubendreher im
Kabelkanal kannst du verhindern, dass der Expander sich verdreht). Das
Drehmoment sollte 8 Nm betragen. Achte darauf, dass die Oberkante des
Vorbaus den Schaft um etwa 5 mm überragt, verwende falls nötig Spacer um
den Vorbau zu erhöhen.
Insert the aheadset-expander into the steer shaft. Tighten the expander
using a Hex 6 Allen Key (a flathead screwdriver in the cable channel can help
to fix the expander against rotation). The torque should be 8 Nm. Ensure that
the top of the stem extends above the steerer tube by approximately 5 mm;
if necessary use spacers to raise the stem.
