To power the access point, you can use othe following steps :
1. Connect one end of your Ethernet cable into the LAN (PoE) port
on the DAP-2690.
2. Connect the other end into one port on a PoE switch.
3. Purchase separately a DPE-101GI PoE injector if you need to
connect the Access Point without a PoE Switch.
