The transmitted packages have identifiers (PID) that tells the receiver what to do with
the received information. Receivers normally use four types of PID, these are V-PID
(video PID), A-PID (audio PID), P-PID (Program PID) and data PID (EPG information).
Personal Identification Number. A four-digit code that is used for locking/unlocking,
e.g. with the parental control feature.
