Press and hold the SCAN button for approx. 1 second. The thermometer
measures the body temperature. Measuring is completed when two
acoustic signals are sounded.

Remove the thermometer carefully out of the ear. Read the temperature
measured in the display.
The temperature measured is also issued vocally.
The thermometer prompts you to complete another measurement. Re-
peat steps 3 to 5, even if the measurement was interrupted or is erron-
eous.

Switch the thermometer off to save the batteries: Press the O/Off button.

Clean the measuring sensor after switching off.

Replace the protective cap on the thermometer.

Clean the measuring sensor with a soft cloth or cotton bud.

Only use a soft cloth to clean the display.

If the temperature measured is under 32 °C, Lo" appears in
the display.
If the temperature measured is above 42.9 °C, "Hi" appears in
the display.
If the ambient temperature is below 10 °C or above 40 °C,
Err" appears in the display.
RECOMMENDATION: Measure the body temperature at least
3 times and use the highest value as the result.
If the device remains unused for approx. 1 minute, it switches
off automatically (automatic shutdown).
