This electrical tool is only suitable for work indoors.

Charging the battery

Always make sure that the On/Off switch is in the Off
position before charging the device.
The battery for these cordless shears was delivered at a
low state of charge. Fully charge the battery before using
the device for the first time.
Note:
The battery will not usually reach full charging capacity
when charged for the first time. The full charging capacity
will only be reached after a few charging cycles. The bat-
tery should only be charged indoors.
You should therefore initially leave the electrical power
tool connected to the power supply for 7 hours. After the
initial charging process and normal use, it will usually
take 3-5 hours to full charge the battery.
The battery and the power supply may feel warm during
the charging process. This is normal and is not a malfunc-
tion.
Do not place the cordless shears, including the charger,
in an area with extreme heat or cold. The ideal ambient

Connect the adapter to a suitable power supply.
Important:
Check the voltage on the type plate. Insert the charger
plug into the charging socket on the tool's rear handle.
The shears connection has a red LED. The LED will light
up (red) as soon as the charger is connected.

The LED goes out again once the battery is fully charged.
Pull out the cord once charging is complete.
