ELECTRICAL HAZARD

If installed incorrectly, the device can be dangerous and cause injury. Before any installation, check the data
of the electrical network. Connect the device only when there is compliance. The device must be unpacked
and checked completely before plugging in by a professional.

• Do not move or tip the device during operation.

COMMISSIONING
The device must be completely removed from its packaging. All protections must be completely removed. Do
not install this appliance near open fires, or other heating devices.

BEFORE FIRST USE

The device must be completely removed from its packaging. All protections must be completely removed.
Place the appliance on a solid and flat surface Never place the electric crepe maker on a flammable
surface.
Do not install this appliance near open fires, or other heating devices.
The electric cable must be protected at least 16 Amps. The device must be plugged directly into a wall
outlet. Using a power strip will cause the device to trip.
Assemble the spindle and the cheese holder for each model as shown below:
• CAR14 - ¼ wheel: fix the axis of the cheese holder on the base and then place the support on the axis.
• CAR12 - ½ grinding wheel: using a screwdriver screw the axle onto the base. Place the cheese holder on
the axis
and screw the support downwards by turning it clockwise.
In order to correctly install the heating block with the resistor: make sure that the rotation screw has been
removed from the aluminum block on the base. Place the resistor on the aluminum block of the base and
fix the rotation screw. Check that the supply voltage corresponds to that indicated on the device.
Before connecting the device make sure that the ON / OFF button is in the "0" position.
Your raclette machine is ready for use.
USE
Before the first use clean the support (see the "Cleaning" section)
Put the ON / OFF button in the "I" position.
Do not leave the support without cheese when the appliance is in operation. Preheating is
about 5 minutes.
On first use a slight smoke may occur during the first minutes.
Place the cheese on the cheese holder.
• For CAR14 - ¼ wheel: the cheese with the skin is held directly on the support and
the handles allow you to pivot the support.
• For CAR12 - ½ wheel: the cheese is held on the support using the large screw
Tightening.
