1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der Bewegungsmelder PIR-100P (passiv infrarot) ist speziell
für den Einsatz in Alarm- und Video-Überwachungsanlagen
konzipiert. Haustiere mit einem Gewicht bis ca. 30 kg werden
nicht erfasst. Bei einer erkannten Bewegung öffnet der NC-
Alarmkontakt (normally closed = Öffner). Zum Schutz des
Melders dient der Sabotagekontakt (3), der beim Öffnen des
Gehäuses einen Alarm über die Alarmzentrale auslöst.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Der Bewegungsmelder entspricht allen erforderlichen Richt-
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich und schützen
Sie es vor Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich von -10 °C bis +50 °C).
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes, weiches
Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
Berühren Sie bei geöffnetem Gehäuse auf keinen Fall die
Oberfläche des PIR-Sensors (2); dieser kann dadurch be-
schädigt werden.
Wird der Melder zweckentfremdet, falsch installiert oder
nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus
resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Ga-
rantie für den Melder übernommen werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie es zur umweltfreund-
lichen Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Montage
Die Montagehöhe sollte zwischen 2,4 m und 2,7 m liegen.
Auf den Melder darf kein direktes Sonnenlicht fallen. Er
darf auch nicht zu nahe an Wärmequellen (z. B. Heizun-
gen) montiert werden.
Die Montagestelle so wählen, dass ein Eindringling die
PIR-Sektoren (Abb. 2) durchqueren muss.
Damit Haustiere mit einem Gewicht bis ca. 30 kg nicht er-
fasst werden,

1 Applications
The motion detector PIR-100P (passive infrared) has especial-
ly been designed for applications in alarm and video surveil-
lance systems. Pets with a weight of up to approx. 30 kg are
not considered. With a detected movement the NC alarm
contact (normally closed) will open. The detector is protected
by an anti-tamper contact (3) which triggers an alarm via the
alarm control panel when the housing is opened.
2 Important Notes
The motion detector corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against
splash water, high air humidity, and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range -10 °C to +50 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means chemi-
cals or water.
Never touch the surface of the PIR sensor (2) when the hous-
ing is open because the sensor may be damaged by that.
No guarantee claims for the detector and no liability for any
resulting personal damage or material damage will be
accepted if the detector is used for other purposes than orig-
inally intended, if it is not correctly installed, or not repaired
in an expert way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively,
take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.
3 Mounting
The mounting height should be between 2.4 m and 2.7 m.
No direct sunlight must fall on the detector. It must not be
mounted too close to heat sources (e. g. radiators).
Choose the mounting place so that an intruder must cross
the PIR sectors (fig. 2).
To prevent animals with a weight of up to approx. 30 kg
from being considered,
– the detector must be mounted vertically to the wall and
at right angles to the passage area.

1) Das Gehäuse öffnen. Dazu einen Schraubendreher in den
Schlitz unten am Gehäuse stecken (siehe Pfeil in Abb. 1)
und durch Drehen öffnen.
2) Zur Montage kann die als Zubehör erhältliche Halterung
BR-100 von MONACOR verwendet werden. Der Melder
lässt sich aber auch in einer Zimmerecke oder flach an der
Wand festschrauben. Die erforderlichen Montagelöcher
und ein Loch zum Durchführen der Anschlusskabel auf der
Gehäuserückseite durchbohren.
3) Die Anschlusskabel in das Gehäuse führen und die Gehäu-
serückseite an der Wand oder Halterung festschrauben.
4 Anschluss an die Alarmzentrale
1) Zuerst die Alarmzentrale außer Betrieb setzen, damit kein
Alarm ausgelöst werden kann. Dann den Melder über die
Schraubleiste (6) anschließen:
2) Die beiden Kontakte TAMPER in die Sabotageschleife der
Alarmzentrale schalten (mit weiteren Sabotagekontakten
in Reihe).
3) Die beiden Kontakte ALARM für die Alarmschleife mit den
entsprechenden Anschlüssen der Alarmzentrale verbinden.
4) Die Stromversorgung (9 –16 V ) an die Kontakte - und +
anschließen. Die Stromversorgung noch ausgeschaltet
lassen.
5 Einstellungen und Funktionstest
1) Ab Werk ist die Brücke PULSES (5) auf die beiden mittle-
ren Pins gesteckt. Dadurch wird ein Alarm ausgelöst, wenn
eine Person sich durch zwei der PIR-Sektoren bewegt.
Durch Umstecken der Brücke kann bei Bedarf auch ein
Alarm ausgelöst werden, wenn nur ein Sektor oder wenn
mindestens drei Sektoren durchquert werden.

1) Open the housing. For this purpose put a screwdriver in
the slot at the bottom of the housing (see arrow in fig. 1)
and turn it for opening the housing.
2) For the mounting, the bracket BR-100 from MONACOR
available as an accessory can be used. However, the
detector can also be screwed down in a corner of the room
or to a wall in a flat way. Drill the required mounting holes
and a hole for guiding the connection cables through the
rear side of the housing.
3) Lead the connection cables into the housing and screw
down the rear side of the housing to the bracket or wall.

4 Connection to the Alarm Control Panel
1) First set the alarm control panel out of operation so that no
alarm can be triggered. Then connect the detector via the
terminal strip (6):
2) Insert the two contacts TAMPER into the anti-tamper loop
of the alarm control panel (with further anti-tamper con-
tacts in series).
3) Connect the two contacts ALARM for the anti-tamper loop
to the corresponding connections of the alarm control
panel.
4) Connect the power supply (9 – 16 V ) to the contacts
- and +. Do not switch on the power supply for the time
being.
5 Adjustments and Functional Test
1) Ex factory, the jumper PULSES (5) is positioned on the two
middle pins. Thus, an alarm is triggered when a person
moves across two of the PIR sectors. If required, by rear-
ranging the jumper, an alarm can also be triggered when
only one sector or when at least three sectors are crossed.

2) Zur Funktionskontrolle den Melder mit dem Gehäuse-
deckel verschließen und die Stromversorgung einschalten.
Danach mindestens 2 Minuten warten, damit der Melder
sich auf den Überwachungsbereich einstellen kann.
3) Den Überwachungsbereich in verschiedenen Richtungen
durchqueren und dabei die LED (1) beobachten, die bei
einer erkannten Bewegung aufleuchtet.
4) Um zu verhindern, dass Unbefugte den Überwachungsbe-
reich ausspionieren, kann die LED (1) nach dem Funktions-
test abgeschaltet werden. Dazu die Brücke LED ON (4) ab-
ziehen und auf nur einen Pin wieder stecken.
5) Abschließend einen Funktionstest mit scharf geschalteter
Alarmzentrale durchführen.

2) For a functional check, close the detector with the housing
cover and switch on the power supply. Then wait for at
least 2 minutes so that the detector can adjust itself to the
surveillance area.
3) Cross the surveillance area in different directions while
observing the LED (1) which will light up at a detected
movement.
4) To prevent unauthorized persons from spying out the sur-
veillance area, the LED (1) can be switched off after the
functional test. For this purpose remove the jumper LED
ON (4) and position it on one pin only.
5) To finish, make a functional test with activated alarm con-
trol panel.
