Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Back-Elektret-Mikrofon ECM-160 ist für den
professionellen Einsatz im Studio und auf der Bühne
konzipiert. Es eignet sich für die Schallabnahme von
Instrumenten sowie für Gesangs- und Sprachan-
wendungen.
Die zum Betrieb erforderliche Speisespannung
erhält das Mikrofon über das angeschlossene Au-
diogerät, d. h. der Mikrofoneingang am Audiogerät
muß über eine 48-V-Phantomspeisung verfügen.
Zum Lieferumfang gehören ein vibrationsdämpfender

Halter mit 16-mm-Gewinde ( / ") und ein Windschutz.

Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Mikrofon entspricht der EMV-Richtlinie für elek-
tromagnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
Das Mikrofon ist nur zur Verwendung im Innen-
bereich geeignet. Schützen Sie es vor Feuchtig-
keit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbe-
reich 0 – 40 °C).
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trocke-
nes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien
oder Wasser.

Applications
The back electret microphone ECM-160 is designed
for professional applications in the studio and on
stage. It is suitable for the sound pick-up of instru-
ments as well as for vocal sound and speech appli-
cations.
The microphone receives the supply voltage
necessary for the operation via the connected audio
unit, i. e. the microphone input on the audio unit must
be provided with a 48 V phantom power. A vibration-

dampening support with 16 mm ( /

windshield are supplied as well.
Safety Notes
The microphone corresponds to the directive for
electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
The microphone is only suitable for indoor use.
Protect it against humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
If the microphone is used for purposes other than
originally intended, if it is not connected correctly

Wird das Mikrofon zweckentfremdet, falsch an-
geschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert,
kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haftung über-
nommen werden.
Soll das Mikrofon endgültig aus dem Betrieb ge-
nommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur Entsor-
gung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
Inbetriebnahme
1) Den Mikrofonhalter auf ein Mikrofonstativ mit
16-mm-Gewinde
krofon in den Halter schieben. Die Feststell-
schraube am Halter lösen, das Mikrofon optimal
ausrichten, und die Feststellschraube wieder
anziehen. Bei Bedarf den beiliegenden Wind-
schutz aufstecken.
2) Das Mikrofon über ein Anschlußkabel (z. B. ein
Kabel der MEC-Serie aus dem Programm von
„img Stage Line") mit einem XLR-Mikrofonein-
gang am Audiogerät (z. B. Mischpult, Verstärker)
verbinden. Der Mikrofoneingang muß mit einer
Phantomspeisung von 48 V

3) Das Mikrofon verfügt über ein Hochpaßfilter zur
Kompensation des Nahbesprechungseffektes

Setting into Operation
1) Screw the microphone support onto a micro-
