3.1. Use with ISOFIT:
For securing the child car seat with ISOFIT there is a
"semi universal" approval. This includes the exclusive attachment with
the ISOFIT grid arms to the ISOFIX attachment points in the vehicle. Please
observe the vehicle type list and the instructions in the vehicle manufactu-
rer's recommendations.
Even if you use the ISOFIT system, never secure your child or child car seat with a 2-pointve-
hicle-belt. If your child is secured in the child seat only with a 2-pointvehicle-belt, it can be
seriously injured in an accident.
3.2. Adjusting of the headrest to the child's size
In order to adjust the height of the head rest to your child's size push the

seat down on the
vehicles seat to keep it there. With the other hand de-block the head rest
de-block lever (Z) on the back of the head rest by pulling it backwards at
the same time. Keep the lever de-blocked and pull the head rest simulta-
neously up or down, according to the child's size. Release the lever. The
head rest needs to be fixed in one of the guide wholes with an audible
sound. Please check by pulling on the head rest, if it does not move anymo-
re without pulling the lever. The middle of the head rest needs to be exact-

ly at the height of the middle of the child's head to
have the highest side protection effect.
The distance between head rest and shoulder of
the child should be 2 fingers. The headrest is adjus-
table in 7 different positions.
4. Installing the HEYNER® MaxiFix PLUS into your car
4.1. Installation with ISOFIT
Use your vehicle manufacturer's vehicle list to check which vehicle seats
are equipped with ISOFIX.
Check the Isofix guides regularly and clean away any dirt, dust or food
particles as they may effect the safety of the system.
Before placing the MaxiFix PLUS on the car seat, fasten if necessary in your vehicle the two
supplied mounting aids (IH) to the ISOFIX anchors (IA). The ISOFIX moun-
ting points are located between the seat and the backrest of the car seat.
Check the safety indicators (IT). These must both be RED. If the safety
indicators (red) are not visible, press the green release tabs until you hear
an audible << CLICK >>.
The ISOFIX mounting points are located between the seat and the back-
rest of the car seat.
Now put the two ISOFIT terminals (IK) on to the ISOFIX anchors (IA) in the
car and click them into
place until you hear a << CLICK >>.
Please check the markings on BOTH PAGES,
whether the seat is correctly connected to the two
ISOFIX anchors (IA) of the car.
GREEN: the clamp is fixed CORRECT.
RED: the clamp is NOT fixed CORRECT.
