2.5.1. Cleaning the keyboard
•
Lock the keyboard before any cleaning operations by means of
the key lock function. (cf. Section 2.5)
•
Clean the keyboard using
- moist cleaning cloths (see table)
- water (and a soft cleaning cloth)
- mild, non-scratch cleaning agent or disinfectant (and a soft
cleaning cloth)
•
Clean the keyboard using small circular movements
•
Please note the following:
- the reaction time of the cleaning agent or disinfectant.
- the drying time of slowly drying disinfectants.
•
Please dry the surface as follows:
- When cleaning with water, wipe dry.
- When using cleaning agents or disinfectants, allow to air dry.

The CK5 keyboard has a space saving layout, which contains a com-

mon sensor area for the touchpad and numeric keypad - it can be
recognized by the area with a light gray background.
