5.3 Filling the water tank

Basic functioning of the mini air cooler: The filter 17 takes the water in from the water
tank 16. Air is passed through the filter 17. The air is cooled by the evaporation of
the water.
You can also use the device 5 without water. It then operates as a fan without the de-
scribed cooling effect.
1. Push down on the release buttons 1 and remove the front panel 14.
2. Figure A: pull the water tank 16 with the filter 17 out of the device 5.
3. Figure C: open the lid 15 of the water tank.
4. Fill the water tank 16 with a maximum of 700 ml of cold, fresh tap water without
additives.
NOTE: to increase the cooling effect, you can cool the tap water in the refrigerator
beforehand.
5. Carefully close the lid 15 of the water tank.
6. Dry the outside of the water tank 16.
7. Push the water tank 16 with the filter 17 back into the device 5.
8. Insert the front panel 14 at the bottom first. Then press the button at the top so that the
release buttons 1 engage.
Filling the water tank 16 with 700 ml of water is sufficient for up to 7 hours of opera-
tion.
• When no more water can be seen in the water level indicator 12, unplug the
power unit 8 and refill the water tank 16.

5.4 Connecting the device

1. Plug the power unit 8 into a properly installed, easily accessible mains socket
whose voltage corresponds to that specified on the rating plate. The wall socket
must still be easily accessible after connection.
2. Insert the USB-C plug 9 into the USB-C port 10 on the back of the device 5. The
LED 11 lights up white once.
