15.2.2 Saw blade exchange

Manipulating the machine with the power supply up can lead to serious injuries
or death. Always disconnect the machine from the power supply before carrying
out any troubleshooting/adjustment work
Danger of injury! Wear protective gloves when changing the saw blade.
- Remove the table insert (2). Remove the 3 screws (1).
- Move the saw blade to the uppermost position using the crank.
- Loosen the screw (3) on the saw blade using the wrenches (21 and 22) and put on the new
saw blade after cleaning the flange and shaft.
Note: Check the correct direction of rotation of the saw blade.
- Tighten the saw blade again (tightening torque of the Allen screw 25Nm).
- Check the riving knife adjustment.
- Refit the table insert and saw blade cover.
- Before continuing your work, make sure that all safety devices are in good working order. (Saw
blade protection check)
- Important! Each time you change the saw blade, check that it rotates freely in the table insert
in both cases. Vertical and 45° angle settings.
- Important! The work for changing and aligning the saw blade (6) must be carried out correctly.

15.2.3 Check / change carbon brushes

C A U T I O N
Check the carbon brushes after the first 50 hours of
operation with a new machine or when new brushes
are fitted. After carrying out the first check, repeat
the check every 10 hours of operation.
If the carbon is worn down to a length of 5 mm, or if
the spring or contact wire is burnt or damaged, it is
necessary to replace both brushes. If it turns out that
the brushes can be used after removal, it is possible
to remount them.
When servicing the carbon brushes, open the two
locks (C) counterclockwise. Then remove the carbon
brushes. Replace the carbon brushes in reverse
order.
