Unfolding the child safety seat
Fold open the child safety seat.

Press the backrest into the seat cushion. You will hear a "click".

Check if the backrest is firmly attached to the seat cushion.

Installation

• Place the child safety seat on the vehicle seat.
• Make sure that the backrest of the vehicle seat is set vertically.
• Ensure that the child safety seat's backrest touches the vehicle seat's backrest. If
the vehicle seat's headrest pushes away the child safety seat's backrest, adjust or
remove the vehicle seat's headrest.
• Slide the shoulder belt into the shoulder belt guide. Do not twist the belt.

How to properly seat your child
• Set the child safety seat's headrest to the proper height. The lever for adjusting the
height of the headrest is located below the headrest cover.
• Use one hand to pull out the lever for adjusting the height of the headrest and use the
other hand to pull up the headrest.
• Make sure that the shoulder belt is at the height of the child's shoulders.
• Place the three-point seatbelt around your child and latch it onto the vehicle's belt
buckle. You will hear a "click".
• Make sure that the lap belt is passed below the lap belt guide.
• Tension the belt by pulling it toward the belt retractor.

Folding the child safety seat
• Carefully release the cover from the seat cushion.
• Pull out the lock to unlock the backrest and pull up the backrest.
• Fold the child safety seat.
Cleaning
• Visible plastic surfaces can be wiped with a moist cloth. Do not use detergents and
solvents.
• The cover can be removed and washed at 30°C.
• Make sure that the cover is reinstalled on the child safety seat after washing.
