Intended use
The product is suited only for distributing radio and
television signals in the house.
It is intended for indoor use only. Contact with
moisture must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not
rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described
above, the product may be damaged. In addition,
improper use can result in short circuits, fires, electric
shocks or other hazards. Read the instructions
carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this
product available to third parties only together with
its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions
carefully and especially observe
the safety information. If you do not
follow the safety instructions and
information on proper handling in
this manual, we assume no liability
for any resulting personal injury or
damage to property. Such cases will
invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) General information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of
children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around
carelessly. This may become dangerous playing
material for children.
• Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures,
direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, steam and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical
stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product
safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer
be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor
ambient conditions or
- has
been
subjected
to
any
transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts,
impacts or a fall even from a low height can
damage the product.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered
by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical
personnel.
b) Connected devices
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions
of any other devices which are connected to the
product.
c) Further safety
• Installation and repairs to the equipment may
only be carried out by technicians observing
the current VDE guidelines. No liability will be
assumed in the case of faulty installation and
commissioning.
• Before handling the device, pull out the mains
plug, otherwise there is danger to life. This also
applies if you clean the device or work on the
connections.
• Only use the mains cable connected to the
device. Never replace any parts or make any
modifications on the mains cable. Otherwise
there is a risk of mortal injury for which we cannot
be held liable.
• If a replaceable fuse is available, pull the mains
plug before changing the fuse. Replace damaged
fuses only with standard fuses of the same
nominal value.
• The equipment may only be operated in dry
rooms. In humid rooms or outdoors there is
danger of short-circuit (caution: risk of fire) or
electrocution.
• The mains plug is used as a disconnecting device
from the mains voltage both during service and in
case of danger and must therefore be reacha- ble
and usable at all times. After connection to the
mains, the device is in operation.
• To prevent damage to your equipment and to
avoid possible peripheral damages, the devices
foreseen for wall mounting may only be installed
on a flat surface.
• Choose the location of installation or mounting
such that children may not play unsupervised
near the equipment and its connections.
• The location of installation or mounting must
allow a safe installation of all cables connected.
The mains cable as well as feeder lines may not
be damaged or clamped by objects of any kind.
• Absolutely avoid that cables come near any
source of heat (e.g. radioators, other electrical
devices, chimney, etc.).
• Choose the location of installation or mounting so
that under no circumstances liquids or objects can
get into the equipment (e.g. condensation, water
coming from leaking roofs or flowing water, etc.).
• Avoid exposure of the equipment to direct
sunlight and to other heat sources (e. g. radiators.
other electrical devices, chimney, etc.).
• Devices that are equipped with heat sinks or
ventilation slots must under no circum-stances be
covered or blocked. Also ensure for a generous
air circulation around the equipment. In this way
you avoid possible damage to the equipment as
well as a risk of fire caused by overheating.
• In case of damage, interrupt the power supply
immediately.
• Do not try to repair the device. This device should
only be serviced or repaired by qualified service
personnel. Contact your distributor for more
information.
• Do not open the device.
• For disassembly always pull the mains plug first
and disconnect the power supply cable from the
connected device.
Equipotential bonding and Mounting
To avoid dangerous power surges (e.g. risk of fire and danger of life) the device must be earthed
Use the equipotential bonding connection at the device (1).
To connect the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to the equipotential bonding, use e.g. QEW earthing
angles at the inputs and outputs of the device.
Use the mounting screws included in the delivery and the mounting holes of the device (2).

RF-Installation
Connect the SAT inputs of the multiswitch to the LNBs of your SAT reception antenna. Connect the
output signals of a CATV amplifier to the terrestrial input.
Connect the subscriber ports of the multiswitch to the antenna sockets used. Use highly shielded coaxial
cables with F connectors.
Care and cleaning
Disconnect the product and allow to cool down before each cleaning.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can
cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
