Cleaning the sensors

Due to the banknotes and the dust that settles, deposits are caused in front of the machine's sensors. These impurities lead to
increased sorting out and non-recognition of genuine banknotes.
Therefore, please clean the sensors of the CCE 6000 at regular intervals. When cleaning the machine, generally switch off the
machine and pull the mains plug.
The CCE 6000 offers you the possibility to open the machine without tools (picture 2) by the red lateral toggle switch (picture 1)
to get easy access to the sensors (picture 3).

With a soft brush and cloth you can remove the dust deposits from the sensors, also in the hopper and stacker area, as well as
from the banknote feed wheels. For cleaning the counterfeit sensors we recommend the additional use of a non-flammable
compressed air spray to remove dirt and fine dust even in inaccessible places.

Error Management

The CCE 6000 is equipped with a detailed error management to inform you about problems with money processing and counterfeit
detection, but also to draw attention to contamination of sensors. Please pay special attention to the instructions for cleaning the
machine on page 11 to exclude errors caused by contaminated sensors and to have an optimal result when counting banknotes.
In the event of an error, you will receive an error message on the display in the selected language, consisting of the error number,
the cause of the error and a suggested solution. If an error message keeps reappearing even after cleaning when used correctly,
please contact your dealer.
