Initial operation
Please observe the following instructions when starting up and using the machine in order to obtain an optimum counting
result.

Connect the mains plug to the socket.
•
Now connect the mains cable to the CCE 6000 and switch it on.
•
Before the self-test, the machine displays the installed software version (e.g. C20-1).
The machine starts automatically in mixed value mode.

Punch the notes on a straight surface so that the notes are flush on one long side and insert the notes centered - with
the flush side to the back - into the feeder. Push the two banknote limiter towards the stack so that the notes can be
fed in optimally.
If the notes are not inserted centered or flush, this may result in miscounting or non-recognition and sorting of notes.

In the case of banknotes suspected of being counterfeit, the stop process is set so that the banknote suspected of being
counterfeit is the top note in the stacker.
Software change and currency updates
The CCE 6000 can be easily and quickly updated via SD cards and currencies can also be exchanged via these updates. For
inquiries about special currencies, please contact your dealer directly. The newsletter of CCE - Cash Concepts Europe GmbH will
inform you about important updates for your machine. You can register for the newsletter yourself via the website
www.cce.gmbh. You will then receive a maximum of 12 newsletters per year on current and important topics such as updates
and new products.
Detailed instructions for updating are included with the SD - Card with the new software.
Cleaning instructions on the display „Service required"
The CCE 6000 is equipped with a reminder function for regular cleaning of the sensors. Every 1,000,000 banknotes you receive the
message "Service required" on the display. You can confirm this message by pressing the "CLEAR" button and continue working
with the machine. Please note that this reminder function represents the minimum cleaning requirement to ensure reliable
functioning of the sensors. Please refer to the chapter "Cleaning" in this manual for information on cleaning and care of the CCE
6000.
