9. Operation

a) General operation
Switching on and off

Press the POWER MODE button (2) to switch the Actioncam on or off. The
•
status indicator LED (14) stays constant when the camera is switched on and
flashes during a recording.
• To protect the battery, the Actioncam shuts off automatically after an extended
period of inactivity. The time until the Actioncam switches off can be set in
the menu.
• The Actioncam has 3 different operating modes: Video recording mode, photo
mode and playback mode.
• The operating mode is indicated by the symbol at the top left-hand corner of
the display (13).
Press the POWER MODE button (2) when the camera is switched on to se-

lect the desired operating mode in a loop. Switch through video recording
mode > photo mode > playback mode > and settings.

10. Settings menu

• Press the POWER MODE button (2) to go to the settings menu. When the
settings menu is open, press repeatedly until you reach the settings.
• Then, press the ▲Up button/WiFi (9) and the ▼Down button (11) to switch
through the available setting options in the menu.
The menu scrolls from top to bottom, regardless of which button you
press.
• Press the trigger button (3) to select and confirm a setting option. The avail-
able setting options are arranged as follows:
