Cleaning the heat exchanger

to injuries.
Do not touch the heat exchanger

with your bare hands.
Let the dryer cool down before clean-

ing the heat exchanger.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage.
Only use water to clean the heat ex-

changer, and do not use any hard or
sharp objects to remove lint.
Residual water can leak. Put an
absorbent cloth under the mainte-
nance fl ap.
The heat exchanger must be cleaned around
every two months.
1. Open the maintenance flap (7).
2. Unlock the heat exchanger attach-
ment (19) and remove it.
3. Remove the heat exchanger (8).
4. Rinse the heat exchanger (8) from all
sides with a jet of water to remove all lint
entirely. Then drain the water completely.
5. Clean the seals.
6. Reinsert the heat exchanger (8) with the
handle pointing downwards.
7. Reinsert the heat exchanger attach-
ment (19) and lock it.
