It is easy to reduce the suction power for a short time, e.g. to prevent rugs or other
objects being sucked into the vacuum cleaner.
1. Open the air inlet valve far enough to reduce the suction power. The floor brush
will be easier to.
2. Close the valve up again when you are ready to use full power again.

Cleaning the dust cup
1. Disassemble the flexible tube. Take the dust cup out by pushing the dust cup
release button.
2. Hold dust cup over a bin. Press the clip at the bottom
of the dust cup, the bottom part of the dust cup will
open allowing dirt to fall out.
3. Lift the dust cup lid release clip to release the lock,
lift dust cup lid. Take out the filter. Shake the filter over
a garbage can to remove loose dust. Clean the filter by
patting it gently or with a soft brush.
4a. When dust is gathered in the cyclone segregator. Turn
the dust cup to unlock position to separate the cyclone
segregator from the dust cup.
4b. Rotate to disassemble the filter compartment. Wash the
cyclone segregator in the water. Make sure the cyclone
segregator is completely dry before assembling.
