Danger from magnetism
• This appliance complies with the
standards for electromagnetic
safety,
nevertheless, persons with pace-
makers or other electrical implants
(such as insulin pumps) must consult
their doctor or implant manufacturer
before using this appliance to ensure
that their implants are not affected
by the electromagnetic field.
Non-observance of this advice can
lead to death!
• Keep magnetizable objects (e.g.
credit cards, memory cards) or elec-
tronic devices (e.g. computers, MP3
players) away from the hob as they
may be affected by the electromag-
netic field of the appliance.
Installation
• The appliance must be disconnected
from the power supply during instal-
lation or other work on it.
• This appliance may only be ins-
talled and grounded by a qualified
electrician in accordance with the
applicable regulations.
• Changes to the power supply system
may only be carried out by a quali-
fied electrician.
Non-observance of this hint can lead
to electric shock or death!
• The edges of the hob are sharp.
Protect yourself from injury, e.g.
by wearing work gloves, when you
touch them.

Use
• If the hob is broken or damaged,
disconnect the appliance completely
from the power supply and contact
an authorized dealer.
