    The Finnpipette BioControl is an electronically-assisted pipette with interchangeable tip cone modules for a wide range of liquid handling operations. The dual-stop trigger that activates the Finnpipette BioControl uses a natural hand movement, increasing comfort and reducing the risk of repetitive stress injuries.

    STEPPER: After selecting and confirming STEPPER mode, (Fig.8), set the µl volume using the + and - keys. The unit volume figures will blink until STEP STEPPER you confirm your choice by pressing SET. Once the unit volume is set, the number of repetitions will start to blink on the display.

    STEPPER TECHNIQUE, (Fig.12) STEPPER mode, repeated dispensing of a selected unit volume is possible. There are three phases in stepper pipetting: aspirate, dispense and blow-out. 1. Press the pipetting trigger to the second stop. 2. Holding the pipette in a vertical position, dip the tip ends in the liquid and release the pipetting trigger. This action will fill the tips and start the stepper sequence.

    4 MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING When the Finnpipette is not in use, make sure it is safely stored on the recharge stand. The pipette should be checked for dust and dirt on the outer surfaces at the beginning of each workday; pay close attention to the tip cone module in this regard.

    Wartung und Fehlersuche Durchführung und Bestellinformationen 1 PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG Die Finnpipette BioControl ist eine vielseitig zu verwendende, elektronisch unterstützte Pipette. Sie wird mittels einer zweistufigen Dosiertaste bedient, wodurch zum einen die natürliche Handbewegung unterstützt und gleichzeitig das Verletzungsrisiko infolge sich ständig wiederholender Arbeitsschritte minimiert wird.

    Mit der Funktionstaste MODE können sie von einem Modus in den anderen wechseln (Abb.5), wobei der angewählte Pipettier-Modus namentlich und blinkend auf dem Display erscheint. Danach ist der Arbeitsschritt mit der Funktionstaste zu bestätigen. Erfolgt diese Bestätigung nicht innerhalb von acht Sekunden, schaltet die Pipette in die Ausgangsposition zurück.

    3. Halten sie nun die Spitzen an die Innenseite des Gefäßes, in das Sie pipettieren wollen, und drücken Sie die Dosiertaste ganz durch; die Spitzen entleeren sich vollständig. Entnehmen Sie nun die Spitzen aus dem Behältnis und streifen Sie sie dabei am Gefäßinnenrand ab. 4.

    ÜBERPRÜFUNG DER KALIBRIERUNG Die Pipette wird bei dem Maximalvolumen (Nominalvolumen) und bei dem niedrigen Kalibriervolumen geprüft (Abb.1). Eine neue Pipettenspitze wird zunächst durch 3-5 maliges Füllen und Entleeren angefeuchtet und bei beiden Volumina werden je 10 Messungen durchgeführt. Eine Pipette wird immer auf Volumenabgabe des jeweiligen Volumens eingestellt.

    Präzision der Pipette wird davon jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt. 4 WARTUNG UND FEHLERSUCHE Bei Nichtgebrauch sollten Sie die Finnpipette BioControl immer sicher auf dem Ladeständer aufbewahren. Achten Sie darauf, daß sie immer sauber gehalten wird. Besondere Sorgfalt muß hierbei auf die Spitzenkoni verwendet werden.

Wenn Sie Ihre Pipette zur Überprüfung einschicken, achten Sie bitte darauf, daß sie zuvor gründlich gereinigt wurde und somit eine Kontaminationsgefahr ausgeschlossen werden kann.

Il est recommandé de vérifier la propreté extérieure de la pipette avant utilisation, en particulier les embases porte-cônes. Nettoyer la pipette avec de l’éthanol à 70% à l’exclusion de tout autre solvant.
