Item-No. 30 49 77 MPA 15.2 MkIII
Intended Use
The MPA prof PA Box used to convert the electric output signals from audio amplifiers into audible
sound waves and is only permitted for connection to the loudspeaker outputs of such devices.
It can only be used in closed rooms, and therefore not outdoors. Do not expose the device to
moisture such as e.g. in bathrooms or similar rooms.
Use other than that described above will lead to damage to the PA Box and involves other risks,
such as short circuits, fire or electrical shocks.
No part of the product must be modified or rebuilt.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
Safety instructions
In case of damage caused by not complying with these safety instructions the
guarantee will be rendered void. We will not assume liability for any resulting
damage.

An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important information in these
operating instructions which is to be strictly followed. Please read all the
instructions before using this device, they include important information on
its correct operation.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the product is not per-
mitted.
• When connecting the PA Box, the safety instructions of the device to which they are connected
must also be observed.
• Never pour any liquids onto electric devices and do not place any liquid-filled objects onto them.
• Do not place naked flames such as burning candles on the device.
• Do not keep any magnetic storage media such as disks, video cassettes or similar close to the
PA Box as the magnetic field of the loudspeaker may corrupt the information stored on these
media.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage your
hearing.
• Do not expose the PA Box to high temperatures, dripping or spray water, strong vibrations or
high humidity.
• Do not leave the packaging material carelessly lying around since it could become a dangerous
toy for children.
• If in doubt about how to connect the device correctly or should any questions arise that are not

• Stable and vibration-proof grating
• Spray water-protected bass membrane
• Aluminium flanged panel socket
• Butterfly handle trough
Installation
Do not place your PA Box in the direct vicinity of screens such as TV sets or
computer monitors. The magnetic field of the speaker might distort the image
of such devices.
When setting up the PA Box, make sure that the loudspeakers have a stable
footing and that the surface they rest on is stable.
If you install the PA Box at an elevated position or stack loudspeakers on top
of one another, the loudspeakers must be secured with appropriate securing
devices. In doing so, ensure that the fastening material and the anchoring
area are sized for the loading that will arise.
Serious injury to people can be caused if the PA Boxes fall. The PA Box may
therefore only be secured by experienced and trained staff.
It is not permitted to suspend the loudspeakers from the carrier handles.
• Carry the PA Box to the desired place of set-up.

Connection
• Connect the speaker or one of the PA Box connection jacks to the amplifier's loudspeaker out-
put. If the amplifier does not have a suitable connection, please use suitable adapter cables.
Connector pin assignment
• If you want to connect another speaker parallel to the same amplifier channel, connect a free
connection with this loudspeaker. Both connections are wired in parallel. The connection OUT-
PUT is not influenced by the integrated diplexer.
• Pay attention to the loading capacity of the power amplifier. The total impedance of the con-
nected loudspeakers may be less than the minimum impedance of the power amplifier.
Care and maintenance
The loudspeaker is maintenance-free.
They should only be vacuumed off on the outside. Make sure not to touch the sensitive speaker
membranes.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the carpet cover or the mem-
branes could be damaged.

When connecting the PA Box, make sure that the connection cable is not
pinched or damaged by edges.
The loudspeakers may only be connected to suitable loudspeaker outlets on
audio devices.
Make sure that the impedance and power rating indicated in the technical
data comply with the data of the connected amplifier. Otherwise, damage to
the PA Box or the amplifier could occur.
The power amplifier to which the PA Box is connected must be switched off
during the connection process.
Do not lay the connection cable in such a manner that it could be tripped over.
