When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
• Read all instructions before using your coffee maker "
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• If unit is operated in any manner other than indicated in this manual, it may cause material
damages or personal injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children to ensure
they do not play with the appliance.
• Always use the coffee maker on a dry, level surface to avoid interruption of airflow
underneath the coffee maker.
• Always make sure the coffee maker is completely assembled before operating. The unit
will not turn on unless properly assembled.
• Be certain the removable water tank is securely placed in the unit while operating
appliance.
• Do not use your coffee maker if any part is broken.
• Do not touch the coffee maker's hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Do not remove the lid during brewing as scalding may occur.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, including the
stove.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
Authorised Service Centre for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
