Aligning the satellites

The following instructions are only applicable if all satellites are operated on tube stands.
Variation #1: all satellites aimed towards audience

The satellites should be positioned clear above the audience to allow the sound to propagate
freely and reach all listeners. A horizontal angle of ca. 110° (see above) provides a good refe-
rence point to achieve a homogenous sound field.
Variation #2: upper satellites aimed towards audience, lower satellites towards stage

As an alternative to variation #1, the lower satellites can be aimed towards the stage for moni-
toring. If this setup produces too much acoustic feedback, use the 'MONITOR -6 dB' attenua-
tor switch on the subwoofer control panel to lower the volume of the monitor speaker.
