Unpacking
• Remove any protective foils and stickers from the soleplate.
• Please unwind the lead completely.
Electrical connection
• Make sure that the iron voltage (see name plate) and the
line voltage match.
• Turn the switches to 0 and the lowest level.
• The mains plug should only be inserted into a correctly
installed 230 V ~ 50 Hz socket with earthing contact.
Connected Wattage
The station has a total maximum wattage of 2000 W. With this
connected load a separate supply line protected by a 16 A
household circuit breaker is recommended.
CAUTION: OVERlOAD!
• If you use extension leads, these should have a cable
cross-section of at least 1.5 mm
• Do not use any multiple sockets, as this device is too
powerful.
Safety Switch
Your fan heater has a safety switch on the underside of the
device. This switches the device off as soon as it is no longer
stable and could fall over.

NOTE:
The device switches on again automatically as soon as it is
placed in an upright position.
CAUTION:
Place the device on a smooth horizontal surface. Avoid car-
pets in order to prevent the safety switch from malfunctioning.
Function Switch
0 = OFF
= Cold air
I = Hot air (1000 W)
II = Hot air (2000 W)

NOTE:
Select low power, for example, for a small room. If this is not
enough, please switch to the high level.
levels/Heating Power
By regularly switching the radiator on and off, the thermostat
ensures that the desired temperature is maintained.

Highest level
In order to find the ideal thermostat setting, please proceed as
follows:
• Turn the thermostat control to the highest level.
• As soon as the desired temperature has been reached, turn
the thermostat control slowly down until the radiator turns
itself off. The control lamp on the switch goes off.
• The radiator will now automatically stay at the desired
temperature.
CAUTION:
When the device is no longer being used you should always
remove the mains plug.
Oscillation
In order to achieve uniform heating and ventilation the device is
also equipped with an oscillation function. This function is avail-
able in all three modes of operation.
• Press the switch on the bottom of the device in order to
switch oscillation mode on and off.
CAUTION:
• Never move the swivel mechanism by hand, as otherwise
the mechanism might be damaged.
• Only the switch should be used to change the direction of
ventilation.

NOTE:
The oscillation function continues to work even if the ventilator
switches off.
Cold air operation
If you would like to use the device as a ventilator please move
the function switch to the ventilator symbol and turn the tem-
perature control to the highest position.
Turning Off
If you would like to switch the device off, turn the switch to the
lowest level or 0 and then remove the plug from the socket. The
control lamp goes off.

Overheating Protection

• The device is equipped with an overheating protection that
switches the device automatically off in case of overheating.
Shift the function switch to „0" position and pull out plug out
of the socket. Let the device cool down for about 10 minutes
before using it again.
• Should the overheating protection shut the device off again
shortly after, there is probably a defect. Switch off the device
again and pull out the plug.
• Let the device be checked by an authorized dealer or by our
customer service (or contact your dealer).
