Description
The 2010-2-232-IB Isolator Module is for use with compatible
addressable fire panels, enabling isolated RS-232
communication with an external device (e.g. serial printer). No
control panel configuration is required.
Installation
WARNING: Electrocution hazard. To avoid personal injury or
death from electrocution, remove all sources of power and
allow stored energy to discharge before installing or removing
equipment.
To install the isolator module:
1. Insert the spacer through the hole on the PCB, as shown
in Figure 1, item 1. Insert the isolator module (Figure 1,
item 2) onto the spacer.
2. Attach the module onto COM0 or COM1 (Figure 2, item 1).
