CAUTION
► Check and/or clean the dual motor
protection filter in regular intervals
(at least every three to six months).
Clogged filters reduce the suction
capacity of the appliance. Moreo-
ver, there is a risk of overheating of
the appliance when operated for a
longer period of time.
► Allow moist or shampooed carpets
and wall-to-wall carpeting to dry
completely before vacuum cleaning.
► Never immerse the appliance or
parts of the appliance into water or
other liquids.
► Do not use any aggressive or scour-
ing detergent.
► Do not use any detergents for clean-
ing the HEPA and motor protection
filters.
► Do not clean any appliance parts in
dishwascher or washing machine.
► Do not fit any wet or moist filters in
the appliance.

For safety reasons, the appliance has
been equipped with a thermal overload
protection appliance. If a blockage should
occur and the appliance becomes too hot,
it switches off automatically.
Remove the mains plug.

Remove any blockages that may have

occurred.
Make sure that the HEPA exhaust air
‹
filter, the dual motor protection filter
and the cyclone unit are not soiled.
Allow the appliance to cool down for
‹
at least one hour.
Subsequently the appliance is ready for
operation again.

Prior to first use

Unpacking

Remove the appliance, all accessory
‹
parts and the operating instructions
from the box.
Remove all packaging materials and
‹
protective foils from the appliance and
the accessories before using it for the
first time.
NOTE
► Do not remove the rating plate or
any warning signs on the appliance.
► Keep the original packaging, if pos-
sible, during the warranty period in
order to be able to pack the appli-
ance properly in the event of a war-
ranty claim. Transport damage will
invalidate the warranty.

Check the delivery

Check the content for completeness and
no visible defects.
Make sure to report an incomplete and/
or damaged delivery immediately to your
supplier.
