PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The StreamMax pump is a flow pump for fresh and salt
water aquariums.
Easy Aquarium Control System (EAC)
This product can communicate with the Easy Aquar-
ium Control-System (EAC). EAC allows convenient con-
trol via smartphone or tablet, and ensures maximum
convenience and reliability. For information on EAC

Intended use
Exclusively use the
2000/4000/5000 as follows:
· For maintaining the water circulation in an aquar-
ium.
· Operate in accordance with instructions. (→ Techni-
cal data)
· Connection only permitted on OASE StreamMax
Pump Controller.
· Only use indoors and for aquaristic purposes in the
home (not for commercial use).
· Only operate with water at a water temperature of
+4 °C to +35 °C.
Accessories
· StreamMax Pump Controller for power supply and
control of StreamMax Premium flow profiles.
· EAC Aquarium Controller for controlling up to five
EAC-compatible devices by app, for instance
StreamMax Pump Controller.
DISMANTLING THE FLOW ADAPTER
The flow adapter concentrates the flow. The pump can
be operated with or without the flow adapter.
How to proceed:

1. Turn the flow adapter slightly.
2. Pull it off the pump casing.

FASTENING THE PUMP WITH THE MAG-
NET HOLDING FIXTURE

The magnet holding fixture contains a magnet with a
strong magnetic field that may affect pacemakers or
implanted cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).
· Always keep magnets at least 0.2 m away from im-
planted devices.
How to proceed:
5 C, D
· Insert the rubber buffer of the magnet holding fix-
ture in the pump holder with a turning movement,
then fit the magnet holder.
· Position the magnet holder on the clean aquarium
wall and carefully position the magnet from the out-
side.
– Max. thickness of the aquarium wall for secure
fastening: 15 mm.
– The pump can be pulled off the pump holder.
– Releasing the magnet holding fixture: Push the
magnet away from the magnet holder.
ALIGNING AND ADJUSTING THE PUMP
How to proceed:

· Align the pump, taking the recommended spacing
into account.
CONNECTION
N O T E
Never connect or disconnect the plugs and sockets of
the connection cables when they are under load! This
could damage the contacts.
· First isolate the unit (switch off and disconnect from
the power supply), then start work on the unit.

The pump StreamMax Premium is connected to the
StreamMax Pump Controller. (→ Accessories)
· Connect the 12 V DC connector of the connection
line with socket P1 or P2 on StreamMax Pump Con-
troller.
· To control the pump by app, the EAC Aquarium Con-
troller connected to the StreamMax Pump Control-
ler is required. (→ Accessories)
