USAGE/FUNCTIONS
Turning the adapter On or Off
Press and hold the On/Off/Mode button (A:1) for two seconds to turn the adapter On or Off.
Bluetooth®
The adapter can be paired with and connected to a Bluetooth® device that supports the Hands-
free and/or Headset profiles.
PTT functionality over the Bluetooth® protocol is compatible with PELTOR WS2, WS3 and WS5
headsets.
Pairing procedure
• Put the headset you want to connect to in pairing mode according to headset user instruc-
tions.
• Ensure that the adapter is charged and turned off.
• Press and hold the On/Off/Mode button (A:1) for five seconds. This puts the adapter in pairing
mode, the On/Off/Mode button (A:1) will begin to flash rapidly.
• The adapter starts looking for PELTOR headsets and connects to the first PELTOR headset
found. If no PELTOR
Headset is found within 30 sec, the adapter starts looking for other headsets.
• When pairing is complete and the headset is connected, the On/Off/Mode button (A:1)
flashes twice every 3 sec.
User menu
The user menu is entered by pressing the On/Off/Mode button (A:1) when device is powered on
and connected to a headset. Menu commands will be sent from the adapter over the Bluetooth®
protocol and can be heard as a voice guide in a connected headset.
The last settings are stored when the adapter is switched off.
The menu has the following options:
Automatic power off
• Off (Automatic power off feature is disabled)
• 2 hours (Automatic power off after 2 hours)
• 8 hours (Automatic power off after 8 hours)
Battery type
Use this setting to specify the battery type:
• Alkaline
• Rechargeble
