Filter system:
Prefilter/Nanosilver
The foam filter, which is attached to the main filter with a Velcro fastener, serves as a
pre-filter and is also coated with nano silver. This antibacterial pre-filter is able to kill
bacteria, thus protecting the following HEPA filter from dust and bacteria.
HEPA filter element
In order to remove even the smallest particles, the room air flows through a HEPA
element in the cleaning process, which absorbs pollen, fine dust and spores, among other
things.
Activated carbon filter
In the next step, the air, now freed of solids, is treated by an activated carbon filter. In
this working process, odours and toxins can be absorbed. Granulated activated carbon is
deliberately used here, as it has a high degree of efficiency and a large total surface
area.
Notes on air purification in the case of cigarette smoke
Cigarette smoke consists of numerous complex chemical compounds. For the air purifier,
it is essentially divided into solid components of smoke and gaseous components of
smoke. The solid smoke particles are filtered out by the HEPA filter. The gaseous
components are absorbed by the activated carbon filter.

The unit should be placed as close as possible to the smoke source.

The device should not be placed on the floor (for smokers, we recommend placing it
on a table).

Depending on how many cigarettes are smoked, the life of the filter is shortened.
Hints for air purification in case of problems with pollen
The air purifier is able to filter all common pollen from the air. These remain in the HEPA
filter. In order for the device to have its full effect and significantly reduce the pollen
concentration, we recommend creating a refuge in which the air purifier is located. The
device can only eliminate allergens in the air. But not allergens that have already been
deposited on beds, walls, furniture etc. Therefore please observe the following
instructions:

Before using the unit, carry out a thorough cleaning of the room.

Do not use dust cloths for cleaning, but a damp cloth.

Vacuum upholstered furniture at least once a week. Use a vacuum cleaner suitable for
allergy sufferers.

Wipe the room wet at least once a week.

Let the unit run at levels 1-5 during the day, depending on the size and layout of the
room. Place the unit on a table. Do not place it on the floor.

Turn off the device for sleeping.

Set the fan speed to 5 during ventilation. It is best to ventilate the rooms between
6:00 and 8:00 in the morning in cities and from 19:00 in rural areas.
Notes on air cleaning in case of problems with house dust
House dust is usually produced by mites that live in upholstered furniture, pillows,
blankets and mattresses. The house dust initially remains there. The air purifier can only
remove house dust from the air. Therefore, it is recommended to turn off sources of
house dust before using an air purifier.
