Whenever the lock is moved from one side to the other the trigger (2) of ALINEA slides along the
trip cam and operates ALINEA according to the setting of the selector (3).
Selector (3) has three different positions, which are correctly set as soon as the red dot is corn-
pletely visible. Adjust the selector only if the lock is at left of knitting.

ALINEA is disconnected. The pushers will not be aligned in Working Position.
However, by pressing down the selector whilst moving the lock from left to right,
the pushers will automatically be aligned in Working Position, e.g. before starting
a pattern with the first pusher arrangement.
Position O is also well suited for knitting loop patterns with more than 4 loops.
Every 2nd row, when moving the lock from left to right, the pushers will auto-
matically be aligned in Working Position.
Preparation: lock at right, arrange pushers with PASSAP JAC or by hand, set
ALINEA to 0, knit 1 row.
Lock at left, set ALINEA to 2, knit 1 row.
From now on work continuously as follows: lock at right, arrange pushers,
knit 2 rows etc.
Every 4th row, when moving the lock from left to right, the pushers will automa-
tically be aligned in Working Position.
Preparation: lock at right, arrange pushers with PASSAP JAC or by hand, set
ALINEA to 0, knit 1 row.
Lock at left, set ALINEA to 4, knit 3 rows.
From now on work continuously as follows: lock at right, arrange pushers,
knit 4 rows, etc.
Note
The red dot is only visible at the starting point, i.e. when ALINEA is ready to be adjusted for the
pattern. During knitting the dot may disappear without ALINEA being out of order.
lf, when adjusting positions 4 or 0, the red dot is not fully visible, turn selector back to 2 and set it
anew. Always follow the sequence 2-0-4 or 4-0-2.
