8 "Video" and the shielding to the terminal 7
"GND". The level of the video signal must be 1 Vpp
according to standard.
2) For audio transmission, connect the audio signal
of the camera or the signal source via a shielded
audio cable to the terminal 6 "Audio A" and, in case
of stereo transmission, additionally to the terminal
4 "Audio B". Connect the shielding to the terminal
5 or 3 "GND".
The input sensitivity for the audio signals can be
adjusted with the control (10) – see chapter 4.4.3.
4.3.2 Control channel/motion detector
If the receiver used is provided with a control channel,
it is possible to activate an optical or acoustic signal
device or another additional unit connected to the
receiver via this channel (e. g. video recorder for auto-
matic start of a recording). At the transmitter, the con-
trol channel is activated by short-circuiting the termi-
nals 10 "Sw.Ch." and 9 "GND". Connect e. g. a motion
detector with NO (normally open) contact to these ter-
minals.
For testing the control channel after setting into
operation, actuate the momentary pushbutton (6). As
long as the pushbutton is actuated, a control signal is
transmitted which will activate the unit connected to
the control output of the receiver.
4.3.3 Power supply
For power supply, a regulated power supply unit with
an output voltage between 7 V
quired, e. g. MONACOR PS-362ST. The power con-
sumption of the transmitter is 3 W.
1) In case of power supply units with variable output
voltage, adjust a value between 7 V and 30 V.
2) Connect the power supply unit:
Connect the positive pole to the terminal 2 "DC
+7 – 30 V" and
the negative pole to the terminal 1 "GND".
3) Make all other connections before connecting the
power supply unit to a mains socket (230 V/
50 Hz). After applying the operating voltage, the
transmitter is switched on and the display (7) is
illuminated.
After operation, disconnect the power supply
unit from the mains socket.

4.4 Adjustments
4.4.1 Channel selection
The wireless transmission is made in the 5.8 GHz
range which has been divided by the manufacturer
into 16 channels with a distance of 9 MHz. At the
transmitter, the same channel must be adjusted as on
the receiver and the transmitting antenna must be
aligned to the same plane as the reception antenna.
For parallel operation of several transmitters and
receivers, a different channel must be used for each
pair of transmitter/receiver. When aligning the trans-
mitting and reception antennas in one plane only (ver-
tical or horizontal), two channels must always remain
vacant between the channels used. In this case, e. g.
only the channels 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 can be used, i. e.
a maximum of 6 channels at the same time.
If it is possible to align the antennas of adjacent
transmitters and receivers in a different way, only one
channel must remain vacant between the channels
used, e. g.:
channel 1 with vertical polarization,
channel 3 with horizontal polarization,
channel 5 with vertical polarization,
channel 7 with horizontal polarization,
etc.
A maximum of 8 channels can be used in this case.
After applying the operating voltage, the display (7)
shows the adjusted transmission channel. To change
the channel, press the momentary pushbutton (6).
Use the right-hand pushbutton to advance one chan-
nel and the left-hand pushbutton to go back one
channel. The adjusted channel is kept memorized
even after disconnection from the power supply.

4.4.2 Polarization
The transmitting antenna must be aligned in the same
plane as the reception antenna. Align the PCB
antenna (5) vertically or horizontally by turning:
Vertical polarization
4.4.3 Adjusting the audio level
The input sensitivity of the inputs "Audio A" and
"Audio B" can be adjusted from 500 mV to 10 V with
the control (10). The audio signal at the receiver or
the monitor must neither be distorted (in this case turn
back the control correspondingly) nor noisy (in this
case advance the control correspondingly).
Horizontal polarization
