WaRnIng
• Examine the instrument before use.
Do not use the instrument if it is wet or damaged
• Use the instrument only as specified in these
instructions or the protection offered by the
instrument may be impaired
• Do not measure more than the rated current, as
marked on instrument
• Use caution with voltages above 30 Vac rms,
42 Vac peak, or 60 Vdc. These voltages pose a
shock hazard
• To avoid false readings that can lead to electric
shock and injury, replace battery as soon as low
battery indicator
• Do not use the instrument in hazardous areas or
around explosive gases or vapours
• Wear suitable personal protective equipment when
working around or near hazardous live conductors
which could be accessible
• Use extreme caution when working around bare
conductors or bus bars. Contact with the conductor
could result in electric shock.
