3. Remove the air inlet fil-
ter (4). To do so, pull on the
strips (18).
4. Clean the air intake filter (4)
either with a brush by brushing
sideways over the air intake fil-
ter or with the vacuum cleaner.
When cleaning the air intake
filter (4) with the vacuum
cleaner, always keep the
nozzle of the vacuum cleaner
about 5-10 mm from the sur-
face of the air intake filter.
5. Insert the air inlet filter (4) or, if
necessary, a new air inlet filter
as described in section "Insert-
ing the filter" on page EN-12.
6. Replace the filter cover (3).
7. Connect the mains plug to the
socket and switch the appli-
ance on.
8. Press the ION button (13) for
approx. three seconds to reset
the air inlet filter.
