3.2 Inspection

Coupling bolt:
x The diameter of the coupling bolt may not be less than 22 mm;
The vertical play of at the coupling bolt (see Fig. 11) may not exceed
2 mm.
Inspection of the tightening torques
of the fastening bolts (for values see table on page 24)
x after the first 500 km driving with coupled trailer
max. 2 mm
x every further 10000 km or once a year
(Replacement: see Repair instructions: on request)
Checking the control pin:
x Press the hand lever upwards until it engages
