Operation
5.1.4 Automatic Cooling/Heating Operation
This function is only available for DC Inverter UTOPIA series (sin-
gle combination) and SET-FREE series (heat recovery system).
Function
  
Automatic cooling/heating operation is automatically switched
cooling and heating based on the set temperature as following
inlet air temperature conditions.
The cooling operation is performed when the inlet air temperature
is approximately 3ºC higher than set temperature.
The heating operation is performed when the inlet air temperatu-
re is approximately 3ºC lower than set temperature.
N O T E
• If the fan speed is set to "Lo" during the heating operation,
the operation tends to be stopped by activating the protection
devices, etc. In this case, set to "Me", "Hi" or "Hi2".
• The heating operation is not available when the ambient tem-
perature is higher than approximately 21ºC.
• The threshold of switching temperature against the setting
temperature is + 3ºC in case of using this function. Therefore,
this function should not be utilized in the room where the ac-
curate temperature and humidity controls are required.
Start operation
  
Press and hold the "MODE" switch for more than 3 seconds.
The indication "AUTO" (automatic cooling/heating operation) will
appear.
"AUTO" is set
The indications of setting temperature, fan speed and air flow
angle are turned ON depending on the condition of control.
N O T E
• The automatic cooling/heating operation is required other set-
ting. Contact your distributor and contractor for details.
• When the "MODE" switch is pressed at "AUTO", the fan ope-
ration is started.
Point the transmitter towards the receiver kit and press "RUN/
STOP" switch. When the transmitting indication "
the " " lamp (yellow) on the receiver will be turned on briefly.
The RUN indicator (red) on receiver is turned ON and the opera-
tion is started.
The indications of setting temperature, fan
speed and air flow angle are turned ON.

Stop operation
  
Point the transmitter towards the receiver kit and press "RUN/
STOP" switch again. The RUN indicator (red) of receiver is turned
OFF and the operation is stopped.
The indications of setting temperature, fan speed and air flow
angle are turned OFF.
5.1.5 Timer Setting Method
Function
  
This function is used to start or stop the unit operation at the
setting time.
The timer setting is available for "ON TIME" and "OFF TIME".
• ON TIME: The operation is started after the set time is passed.
• OFF TIME: The operation is stopped after the set time is passed.
Press "ON TIME" or "OFF TIME". By repeatedly pressing "ON
TIME" or "OFF TIME", the indication of setting time is changed.
The setting time is available at half hour intervals up to 10 hours
and at one hour interval up to 23 hours after 10 hours.
COOL
The setting time for "ON TIMER"
is set to 6 hours.
Point the transmitter towards the receiver kit and press "SET"
switch. The TIMER indicator (green) on receiver is turned ON.
