OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
SPECIFICATION
Input: 230V-50Hz, 28W
Outputs: 6 outputs for 4mm banana pins
1 x 600mA / 7,2V DC
1 x 180mA / 6V (140mA / 12V)
1 x 140mA / 7,2V (110mA / 12V)
2 x 60mA / 7,2V (50mA / 12V)
1 x 50mA / 6V (40mA / 12V)
A red charging indicator is assigned to each output.
A green LED indicates that the charger is connected to
the mains socket.
The charger is equipped with a protection against short-
circuit and reverse polarity.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The EXPERT CHARGER 6 is suitable for charging most
of NiCd, NiMH and lead-acid batteries in the R/C field. All
6 outputs can be used individually or at the same time.
PRODUCT OPERATION
• Plug the charger to the 230V 50Hz mains socket.
• Plug the banana pins of the charging cable to the
correct output. (i.e. Positive to the +pole and negative
to the pole of the battery.)
• Check whether the red LED On to indicate the
charging process. When the green LED (power
indicator) goes off after the battery is connected, it
indicates wrong polarity of battery cells or short circuit.
• To increase the charging current, several outputs can
be used in parallel simultaneously.
(2 outputs of 60mA generate 120m<a).
• To terminate the charging process, disconnect the
charger from the mains socket first and then remove
the battery from the charger.
SAFETY MEASURES AND PRECAUTIONS
• The charger must be protected against high humidity
and water.
• Do not leave the unit in direct sunlight for a longer time.
• CAUTION explosive gases, avoid open fire ands parks!
• Do not cover the cooling slots. The unit can get very
warm when in charging.
• Never leave the charger unattended during charging.

• Repairs may only be carried out by authorized service
centres.
• Do not cover the cooling slots. The unit can get very
warm when in charging.
• Keep the charger out of reach of children.
• If the battery gets hot (>45°C) remove it from the
charger immediately. Otherwise, the battery may
cause fire and explosion!
• Connect the charger only to appropriate voltage
sources (230V-50Hz mains socket).
• Charge only NiCd, NiMH or lead-acid batteries (do not
attempt to charge Li-Ion/LiPo batteries or primary
disposable cells).
• Never plug in the charger if there are any signs of
damage to the housing, cables, connectors or mains
plug. Never try to open the charger.

valuable materials and at the end of their useful life
should not be disposed with household waste!
