Safety

This section contains important safety instructions for handling
the device. This device complies with statutory safety regulations.
Improper use may result in personal injury and property dam-
age.

Basic safety instructions

To ensure safe operation of the device, follow the safety guide-
lines set out below:
■ Check the device for visible external damage before use. Do
not operate a device which has been damaged or dropped.
■ Damaged cables or connections should be replaced by the
Customer Service department.
■ Always grasp the connection cables by the plug. Do not pull
on the cables themselves!
■ Do not place any objects, furniture or the like on the connect-
ing cables and ensure that they are not caught or jammed
anywhere.
■ Never make any knots in the connecting cables and do not
bind them together with other cables. The connecting cables
should be routed so that they cannot be stepped on or
tripped over.
