The appliance can be put into operation after removing the packaging. Proceed as follows

for this:

1. Make sure that the heating level switch (see Fig. 1, No. 2) is at "0". Then connect the

fan heater to an earthed socket protected with an earth-leakage circuit breaker. Note

that the device is equipped with an oscillating function. Check that the unit is able to

rotate freely.

2. Now switch on the appliance by moving the heating level switch (see Fig. 1, No. 2) to

the desired position. The following applies here:

1. Start the appliance by setting the desired heating power using the heating level switch

(see Fig. 1, No. 2).

2. Turn the temperature control (see Fig. 1, No. 3) clockwise as far as it will go.

3. Once the desired temperature has been reached, turn the temperature control anti-

clockwise until you hear a clear click. An integrated thermostat control now automati-

cally switches the appliance on and off, thereby ensuring an approximately constant

temperature.

1. Press the oscillation switch (see Fig. 1, No. 5) to activate the function. The heater now

moves from side to side.

2. To deactivate the oscillation function, press the oscillation switch again.
