Spatter shield
• When you use the Multitalent as a spatter shield, do not attach any inset.
• When you use the Multitalent as a spatter shield on a pan, place it in the pan with the silicone surface at the top.Through the
opening you can check how the food is frying, and at the same time the Multitalent will block out or catch any hot, spitting fat.
You should protect your hands when lifting the Multitalent.
• To use the Multitalent as a spatter shield when puréeing or mixing, place it on your pot or bowl with the main silicone surface
downward.You can then control your mixer through the opening.
Overboil protector
• When you use the Multitalent as an overboil protector, place it on your pot with the main silicone surface downward without
attaching any inset.
• If the liquid (e.g. milk or water in which you are boiling pasta) boils over, the Multitalent will catch it. By the latest at this point
you should reduce the temperature – the liquid will then flow back into the pot. Caution: It may not be possible to prevent a
minimum amount of spatter.
• When boiling milk, fill the pot halfway at the most and do not use coated cookware.
