YOU HAVE MADE AN EXCELLENT CHOICE
In order to ensure full satisfaction and get the very best from this product, it is important that
you read the entire user instructions and carefully follow the advice and suggestions contained
therein.
(1)
Fitting of the harness
Insert the harness's three holders into the helmet's grooves as in the illustrations. See also the
already-fitted holder. Note that it is important that the headbands are properly tensioned in their
attachments.
(2)
Adjustment to fit
For perfect fit, adjust the neckband to suit your head size. When the neckband's strap has been
tightened so that the helmet sits securely, press the studs into the holes. The neckband can be set
at a choice of three vertical height settings for perfect comfort (A–C), as in the figure.

IMPORTANT USER INFORMATION

• The helmet must be worn, adjusted, cleaned and maintained in accordance with these instruc-
tions.
• In order to ensure best performance, the harness must be kept in good condition. The helmet's
harness must also be adjusted to fit the wearer's head in order to offer maximum protection.
• Clean the helmet, harness and sweatband regularly with soap and lukewarm water.
• Plastic material ages when exposed to UV light, for example long-term exposure to direct sun-
light.
• Do not store the safety helmet in direct sunlight or at high temperatures, for example in a window
or windscreen.
• When the helmet is not in use, it should be stored in a cool, dark place to prevent the material
from aging.
• The helmet's lifetime is hard to define; in general:
– The helmet can be stored for several years as long as the recommendations are followed – a
cool, dark location.
– The helmet can be used for approximately 7,000 hours in a typical environment. In some
extreme environments, the usage time may be shortened. Mark the first date of use inside the
helmet. If the helmet is not stored in a cool, dark place, the storage time should be counted as
usage time.
• Direct contact with sprays, liquids or any substance containing solvents or alcohol can nega-
tively affect the helmet shell's durability. If a label is affixed to the helmet, use water, rubber or
acrylic glue only. The helmet must not be painted.
• The helmet is designed to absorb impacts. However, a severe impact can damage or even
destroy the helmet shell or its harness, resulting in a lower level of protection in the future. Even
if such damage is not visible to the naked eye, any helmet involved in a severe impact should
be replaced.
• Under no circumstances should factory-fitted parts be altered or removed from the helmet, unless
expressly recommended by the manufacturer. The helmet should not be altered to suit attachments
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
APPROVAL AND MARKING

with approved supplementary standards for lateral rigidity, electrical insulation (G2001), molten
