1 INTRODUCTION
1.1
SAFETY INFORMATION
Before doing anything with the fresh water
station and its peripheral equipment, read and
always observe the provisions of Section 5
Safety.
This document is an integral part of the fresh
water station. The document must always be
kept available on the same premises as the
fresh water station.
This manual must be complied with during
installation of the fresh water station. Also
observe
local
regulations
applicable in the country/city concerned. If there
are any differences between the contents of this
manual and local regulations and standards,
the latter take precedence.
1.2
PLANT INFORMATION
The fresh water station (FWS 100/FWS 200) is
heated from a buffer tank, which in turn is
heated by a heat pump or supplementary
heater. Depending on the return temperature,
the return from the fresh water station goes to
either the buffer tank mentioned above or a pre-
heating buffer tank also heated by the heat
pump.

The manual provides information on the fresh
water station's functionality, safety, installation,
commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
Sections 6 Installation and 7.1 Commissioning
contain information intended mainly for the
responsible supervisor and the contractor.

for the fresh water station, it is essential that the
contractor carries out the installation using the
information in this manual. To maintain the
and
standards
validity of the warranty, preventive maintenance
of the fresh water station must be carried out as
detailed in this documentation.
The following applies to the installation of the
SWEP fresh water station FWS 100/FWS 200:
The responsible supervisor and pipework
contractor must have read and be fully
conversant with this manual. If anything is
unclear, the purchaser or supplier must help to
interpret and understand this installation and
commissioning manual.
