Operation

8.1 Material Feed

- Swing the material sensor (21) upwards and rest
on the two spigots provided.
- Move the lifting lever (13) to the left, thereby
raising the upper transport roller (17).
- Loosen the two knurled locking screws (11) on the
front and rear material guides (9, 10).
Adjust the guides so that the material to be cut passes
easily between them.
Note: The clearance between the blades reduces
from 7mm. at the rear (furthest from the operator)
to 2.5mm.at the front (nearest to the operator).
- Secure the rear material guide by tightening the
knurled locking screw
- Feed the material to be cut from the left, under the
(raised) material sensor, the axle, the upper trans-
port roller and the cutter guard until the material
protrudes through the (open) cutter blades (24, 25).
! In the event of the cutter blades being closed,
switch the machine ON for a moment and then
switch it OFF again. The upper blade is subjected
to a synchronised movement which causes the
blades to rest in the fully open position.
- Slide the material to be cut against the rear
material guide (9).
- Slide the front material guide (10) towards the rear,
ensuring that the material to be cut can move
easily between the two guides without jamming.
Tighten the knurled locking screw.
- Move lever (13) fully to the right, thereby lowering
the upper transport roller.
- Swing material sensor (21) down until it rests on
the material to be cut.
- Should it be necessary to remove uncut material
from the machine, simply move the lever (13) to
the left, thereby raising the upper transport roller,
and draw the material out to the left.

Fonctionnement

8.1 Introduction de matière
- Déplacer le capteur de matière (21) jusqu'à ce qu'il
repose sur les picots prévus à cet effet.
- Basculer le levier (13) vers la gauche de manière
à soulever le rouleau d'avance supérieur (17).
- Desserrer les deux vis moletées (11) des guides-
matière.
Ajuster les guides (9, 10) le long de l'axe (12) afin que
le matériau à couper passe facilement entre eux.
Ne pas oublier que le dégagement entre les couteaux
est réduit de 7 mm à l'arrière (le plus loin de
l'opérateur) et de 2,5 mm à l'avant (le plus près de
l'opérateur).
- Fixer le guide-matière arrière en resserrant la vis
moletée.
- Introduire le matériau à couper par la gauche sous
le capteur de matière soulevé, sous l'axe, sous le
rouleau d'avance supérieur (18), jusqu'à ce qu'il
passe entre les couteaux (24, 25).
! Si les couteaux sont en position basse, allumer la
machine un instant puis l'éteindre. A chaque
connection de la machine, le couteau supérieur est
soumis à un mouvement synchronisé vers le haut.
Les couteaux sont ainsi en position haute!
- Faire glisser le matériau à couper le long du guide-
matière arrière (9).
- Faire glisser le guide-matière avant (10) le long du
matériau à couper, en s'assurant qu'il passe
facilement entre les guides. Resserrer la vis de
réglage du guide-matière avant.
- Basculer le levier (13) vers la droite afin d'abaisser
le rouleau d'avance supérieur.
- Déplacer le capteur de matière vers le bas jusqu'à
ce qu'il repose sur le matériau à couper.
- S'il est nécessaire de retirer du matériau non
coupé de la machine, basculer le levier vers la
gauche de facon à lever le rouleau d'avance
supérieur et tirer le matériau vers la gauche.
