DuplicAir Intelligent Control® (DIC) User Manual
The stove has been tested and approved for burning 2.1 kg of birch wood with a moisture content of
12 to 20%. This means that DIC is designed to ensure optimum control of the stove when it has been
loaded with 2.1 kg of birch wood with a moisture content of 12 to 20%. DIC has been tested to
operate with 1.0 to 3.5 kg of firewood. If the range is met, DIC will adjust the operation of the stove
accordingly. If the amount of firewood is too large (> 3.5 kg), the wood-burning stove may overheat
and damage, in the worst-case scenario, the sensors of the automatic system. If the temperature
becomes too high, DIC will adjust it by significantly reducing the inflow of combustion air which can
lead to soot deposits on the glass.
IF THE STOVE IS MOUNTED WITH REAR FLUE, MOVE THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR PRIOR TO
SETUP/INSTALLATION. See section "Rear flue modification".
