Changing name and code
Follow these steps to change the name and the code for the stove:
1. Open the Jydepejsen App and go to "Settings"
2. Press "Set Access Point"
3. Enter your desired name (SSID). The name must be at least 6 characters long. Special characters are not
permitted.
4. Enter your desired code. The code must be at least 8 characters long. Special characters are not permitted.
5. Press "Save".
6. Press "YES" to reboot.
7. Shut down your Jydepejsen App and turn off the Wi-Fi.
8. Wait for at least one minute.
9. You can now turn on the Wi-Fi and the Jydepejsen App again.
Resetting name and code
If you have forgotten the code for the stove, you can reset it by pushing the damper handle
1. all the way back to position "closed"
2. and holding it there for 4 seconds. The LED will flash quickly.
3. Once the 4 seconds have elapsed, the LED will turn off.
4. After about a minute, the name and code will be reset
to the factory settings, which are, as follows:
Name: OMEGA
Code: dic12345
Combustion
Lighting:
- Check before lighting that DIC has been set to automatic mode.
- Create a loose stack of approx. 2 kg of kindling wood
- Light using Jydepejsen Firestarters or similar kindling.
- DIC will now automatically regulate the air intake.
It is important to refrain from changing ANY of the stoves settings during lighting. During lighting, DIC runs
a special program that makes sure that the stove warms up properly, thereby ensuring pure combustion
during each subsequent stoking.
When combustion is at its end, the
LED at the bottom will light, which indicates
that you need to stoke the fire.
At some point, the LED will start
flashing, which indicates this is
the last chance for stoking.

LED flashes = last chance for stoking
