Brakes
• Brakes can be found on either side of the handlebar. Pull the lever to activate the front brake (right
lever) or the rear brake (left lever).
• First, take the scooter at a low speed in order to get used to the action of the brakes and braking
behaviour as you learn.
Notes on stance
• Before every ride, fold the stand.
• Place both hands on the handlebars. First, set one foot on the front part of the stand board at an
angle.
• Go gently into a crouch to lower your centre of gravity and stabilise your balance.
• Once you add gas to accelerate, put your second foot on the stand board and find a position that
allows you to maintain the best balance.
• Never jump onto the scooter, and accelerate and brake with caution. Leave the stand board only
after braking to an almost stationary position.
Fuse
If any fuse in this unit is loose or defective, the scooter can neither be charged nor operated.
Malfunctions may be fixed by a change or installation of a backup.
• To change the fuse, you must put the device in the 'off' state using the on / off switch.
• If the device is connected via the power supply to the mains, disconnect it.
• Unscrew the cap labeled 'fuse'. Remove the possibly defective fuse and insert the spare fuse as
shown.
• Screw the fuse cap back on with the backup fuse in position.
To prevent damage and to ensure a long life and full functioning, the following maintenance must be
performed regularly. If you have no prior experience, contact a professional - such as a bicycle repair
service or auto mechanic, to make the following maintenance adjustments.
External cleaning
• Do NOT use volatile liquids such as insecticide spray to clean the scooter as the surfaces may be
damaged by applying pressure when wiping the surfaces.
• Do NOT spray the device with a water hose.
• Clean the outside of the unit with a soft, damp cloth and lukewarm water or lukewarm soapy water.
