Universal cutter
For cutting herbs, onions, fruit, vegetables, hard cheese and
meat and for crushing ice (see also Tips for cutting food in
the universal cutter").
Warning!
Before cutting meat, remove gristle, bones and sinews.
The universal cutter is not suitable for grinding coffee beans
or cutting radishes.
Operate the universal cutter at maximum speed only.

S Place the universal cutter on a smooth, clean work
surface and press into position.
S Insert blade.
S Add the food.
S Place the attachment on the universal cutter and rotate in
a clockwise direction until it clicks into position.
S Connect the base unit to the attachment and press down
firmly while cutting the food.
S Insert the mains plug.
S Grip the base unit and universal cutter and press the
ON button.

Warning!
Never immerse the base unit or gear attachment in water
and do not clean in the dishwasher. Do not use a steam
cleaner.
S Pull out the mains plug.
S Press the release buttons and remove the blender
foot/gear attachment from the base unit.
S Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth and then wipe dry.
S The blender jug can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Note: If processing red cabbage, for example, the plastic
parts will become discoloured by a red film which can be
removed with a few drops of cooking oil.

Cleaning the blender foot
S Clean the blender foot in the dishwasher or with a brush
S Leave the blender foot to dry in an upright position
