If the battery pack still fails to charge, we request that
you send
the battery charger with charging adapter
and the rechargeable battery pack
to our customer services department.
To ensure that the NC battery pack provides long
service, you should take care to recharge it promptly.
You must recharge the battery pack when you notice
that the power of the tool drops.
Never allow the battery pack to become fully dis-
charged. This will cause it to develop a defect.
6.3 ON/OFF switch
Use the ON/OFF switch to turn the tool on and off.
6.3 Applying the polishing agent (A-G)
When using wax and polishes, please observe
the manufacturers' instructions.
a) Pull the textile polishing cap over the polishing
pad. Make sure the polishing cap is completely
clean.
b) Spread the polishing paste evenly over the
polishing pad. Do not apply the polish directly to
the polishing surface.
c) Switch the polishing machine on and off only
when the polishing machine is resting on the
polishing surface.
c) First work on the large level surfaces such as the
engine hood, boot lid and roof. Work with smooth
movements.
IMPORTANT! Have the polishing machine simply
rest on the surface you want to polish, without
applying any additional pressure!
e) Work next on the smaller surfaces (doors, for
example). Allow the mains cable to hang from the
appliance and hold the polishing machine as
illustrated.
f) For less accessible areas (such as wing-mirrors,
bumpers and door handles etc.), remove the
polishing cap from the pad and polish these areas
by hand.
g) Removing the polish layer
Now replace the textile polishing cap with the fine
polishing cap and pull this over the polishing pad.
Make sure it is completely clean. Remove the
layer of polish in the same order as it was applied.
Important! Do not exert pressure on the
polishing machine!

7. Maintenance and care

Wash the polishing cap only by hand and hang up
to dry.
When not in use, remove the polishing cap and
store the polishing machine upside down so that
the polishing pad can dry and retains its original
shape.
The excessive use of wax and paste can cause
the polishing cap to jump off the polishing pad
while polishing.
Use only a mild soap and damp cloth to clean the
polishing cap.
8. Care tips
For optimum paintwork protection, you should
polish your car 2 to 3 times a year.
Wash your car at least every 2 weeks. Avoid using
household detergents as these can damage the
paintwork and remove the layer of wax.
Wash your car with a clean sponge, working from
top to bottom.
Remove all insects, bird droppings and tar stains
from the paintwork daily.
If you use any window-cleaning agents, spray
them onto a cloth and not directly onto the
windows in order to prevent them wetting the
paintwork.
9. Disposal
The tool, accessories and packaging should be dis-
posed of in an environmentally-friendly fashion.
Plastic parts are coded for purposes of separation
when recycling.
