AS104F Instructions
To begin: Take sails, boat and stand out of the box. Carefully
unroll sails.
Note: Take care when untying bundle of rigging lines, so as
not to tangle.
Place hull on stand (with deeper groove in stand facing aft).
Bowsprit
1. Slide Bowsprit through opening at Bow and insert square
end under the abutment on deck as far as it will go.
2. Hook lines from Bowsprit tip
underside to eyelet (E1) on hull.
3. Hook lines from Bowsprit tip sides
to upper side hull eyelets (E2, E3).
Fore Mast
4. Place Fore Mast in the Fore
Mast Step.
5. Hook inner Shroud lines hanging
from Fore Mast sides to deck side
eyelets (E4, E5).
6. Hook outer Shroud lines hanging
from Spreader bars to deck side
eyelets (E6, E7).
Jib Sail
7. Pull down end of line hanging
from block at top of Jib Sail and
hook to front Fore Mast Step
eyelet (E8).
8. Hook fore corner and hook
lower end of line at fore edge
of Jib Sail to eyelet (E9) at
upper Bowsprit tip.
9. Hook the block hanging
from Jib Boom under-
side to Traveler Bar #1
on fore deck and end
hook to front Fore Mast
Step eyelet (E8).
Fore Sail
10. Pull down end of line from lowest
block hanging from zigzag rigging at
top of Fore Sail spar and hook to
starboard side Mast Step eyelet (E10).
11. Pull down end of line from block near
Mast attached to line from Fore
Sail top spar and hook to port
side Mast Step eyelet (E11).
12. Hook 'S' hook on brass band
near base of Fore Mast to
eyelet (E12) on square
end of Fore Sail Boom.
13. Hook line from block
hanging from Fore Sail
Boom to Traveler Bar #2.

14. Place Main Mast in Main Mast Step.
15. Hook inner Shroud lines hanging from Main Mast sides to deck
side eyelets (E13, E14).
16. Hook outer Shroud lines hanging from Spreader bars to deck side
eyelets (E15, E16).

20. Hook the block from the line
hanging from Main Sail Boom
underside to Stern edge
eyelet (E20) and end block
to Traveler Bar #3.
21. Hook end of line at
top of Main Mast to
eyelet (E21) at
