AS055 Instructions
1. Place boat hull on Stand.
2. Gently unroll sails. Note: Take care when untying
bundle of rigging lines, so as not to tangle.
Bowsprit
3. Set Bowsprit into brackets at Bow with flat
side toward deck.
Hook line from Bowsprit to eye (E1) on hull.
Mast
4. Set Mast into Mast Step with eye (E2)
at lower Mast positioned
toward Stern.

5. Place pin at end of the Boom into eye (E2) at
lower Mast.
Hook lower forward corner of Mainsail to eye (E2).
Hook aft corner of Mainsail to Boom eye (E3).
Hook line from Boom to Traveler Bar.
6. Place pin at end of the Gaff Spar into the two
eyes (E4) at mid-Mast.
Hook the zigzag line from Gaff Spar to Mast
eyes (E5, 6, & 7).
Shrouds
7. Hook Shroud lines from eyes at upper sides of
Mast to eyes (E8, E9) in port and starboard
mid-deck hardware.
8. Hook ends of lines from tip of Mast to eyes
E11
(E10) in port and starboard aft hardware.

9. Hook upper corner of 1st Jib sail and

10. Hook forward corner of 2nd
Jib sail to Boom eye (E14).
11. Hook 2nd Jib aft corner to
either port or starboard
hardware eye (E15).
